EXAMPLE 5.0.3: MOMENT OF COPLANAR FORCES

Neglecting the thickness of the member, determine the moment of the force about point O.

Due to the inclination, start by taking the components of the 50N force.

                                        

                                        

And because of the inclination of the distance between the force and point O, we should also take their components.
