EXAMPLE 6.1.8. HEAD LOSS USING DARCY WEISBACH FORMULA WITH REYNOLD'S NUMBER

Determine the discharge of a fluid with Re=2200, flowing through a 30mm diameter pipe, 150m long if head lost is maintained at 175m.



From the given Re = 2200, which considers the flow as turbulent. The formula to be used for friction factor is from Hagen-Poiseuille equation:
